Overview
Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play mode within Fortnite where up to 100 players compete to be the last one standing.
I have contributed across many Battle Royale seasons, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver polished gameplay experiences. My responsibilities include ensuring UI and gameplay interactions are seamless, accessible to a wide range of players, and aligned with Fortnite’s goal of creating fun, engaging, and memorable moments we often refer to as “Only in Fortnite.”
My daily responsibilities:
I craft clear documentation and interaction specsthat aligned cross‑disciplinary teams around a shared vision, reducing ambiguity and accelerating implementation.I transform high‑level gameplay goals into clear UX frameworks,ensuring new features align with player motivations, gameplay flow, and the fast‑paced nature of Battle Royale experiences.I advocate for player‑centric decision‑makingby synthesizing qualitative feedback, telemetry, and competitive analysis into actionable UX recommendations that make the experiences we're building in Battle Royale unique and accessible to players.When working with with content related to an IP/brand, I craft experiences that honor each brand’s visual language and narrative tone,by thoughtfully blending their identity with Fortnite’s established UI patterns to create integrations that feel both authentic to the IP and seamless within the Fortnite ecosystem.
